UK’s newest star, LeoStayTrill, is back to lace fans up with another heater titled “Hands on Knees” featuring K-Trap. In only a year, Leo has spectacularly crashed onto the scene. More on LeoStayTrill here:

Born to Zimbabwean parents and raised in South London, Leo’s parents initially didn’t quite get his music aspirations. But after seeing him perform for huge crowds in primary school, they understood he was a natural. “Now they’re fully on board,” he smiles.

Leo taught himself how to produce and started collaborating and creating music as soon as possible. He credits his symbiotic collaboration with producer Xeretto since 2019 (when they were 12 or 13) with bringing his trademark sonics to life in a new way. ‘Honeybun’ came from that and then ‘Pink Lemonade,’ so I don’t need to go elsewhere to get something we created.” Understandably, when the recipe has already proved so successful, coining a contagious blend of UK rap’s best bits, his sound has already set him apart from the pack on the international stage. Pairing the fast-paced percussive vocal delivery of drill with the earworm lightness of afro swing melodies. The innate rhythmic flair of African melodies and the effortless charisma and lingua franca of London’s cultural melting pot.
