Swedish House Mafia and four-time GRAMMY® winner The Weeknd is back with ‘Closing Night,’ the much-rumoured exclusive new bonus track from the special edition ‘Pharrell Williams Edition Cover’ of The Weeknd’s sixth studio album, Hurry Up Tomorrow.

Released last Friday, January 31st, Hurry Up Tomorrow is The Weeknd’s final album under his moniker, featuring JusticeAnitta, and Travis Scott, with production from Mike DeanJustice, and Giorgio Moroder. The original Hurry Up Tomorrow included two bonus tracks, and now the third bonus track, the SHM-produced ‘Closing Night’, can be heard for the first time exclusively on the Pharrell Williams Cover Edition, fronted by a Pharrell Williams-designed cover.

Iconic dance-pop trio Swedish House Mafia have produced for and collaborated on a number of hits with/for The Weeknd. In 2021, they released ‘Moth to a Flame’, a melancholic dance anthem, and in 2022, they co-produced and co-wrote The Weeknd’s hit single ‘Sacrifice’. The trio also contributed production to ‘How Do I Make You Love Me’ on The Weeknd’s 2022 album Dawn FM and ‘Nothing Is Lost’, which featured in that year’s highest-grossest film—the third highest of all time—‘Avatar: The Way Of Water’. That summer, the four came together for a historic Coachella headline performance, stepping in to replace Kanye West. The set blended featured ‘Moth to a Flame’, ‘Sacrifice’, and classics from both acts’ catalogues.

The exclusive new track ‘Closing Night’, from Swedish House Mafia and The Weekend is part of the limited-edition ‘Pharrell Williams Edition Cover’ of The Weekend’s final album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, out now.
