Zohaib Today, the rising pop punk band SUNBURNT released their highly-anticipated single, “Promise,” featuring Jayden Seeley (formerly With Confidence). The track is now available to stream courtesy of Hopeless Records.
Embracing the spirit of Southern California’s pop, alternative, hardcore, and pop punk traditions, SUNBURNT fuses these influences into a tidy and modern package. Their latest release, “Promise,” perfectly encapsulates those elements while showcasing a different, more intimate side to the band.
“This song is a tender departure from our typical high-energy sound. It’s an emotionally charged track that slows things down to explore the quiet weight of avoidance. With a steady, driving beat that mirrors the restless push to outrun inner struggles, the song reflects on how anxieties always find their way back—no matter how far we run,” shares the lead singer of SUNBURNT, Justin Tyler.
This release comes after the group released their debut EP Unconditional in October 2024, featuring instant pop-punk classics like “Built for This” and “In Front Of Me.” Their new single was co-written in collaboration with Jayden Seeley.
