International rock icon and “Samurai Guitarist” MIYAVI has released the deluxe edition of his latest album LOST IN LOVE, FOUND IN PAIN today via Rise Records. The expanded version features seven brand new tracks, including the emotionally gripping new single “Not Strong Enough”.
The deluxe release arrives a couple of weeks after MIYAVI’s surprise performance at Coachella, where he joined Yo Gabba Gabba! onstage in a wild, star-studded set featuring Weird Al, Thundercat, Portugal. The Man, and more.
Originally released in October 2024, LOST IN LOVE, FOUND IN PAIN has been praised for its bold sonic direction, fusing high-energy riffs, dynamic collaborations, and deeply personal storytelling. From the infectious hooks of “Eat Eat Eat” to the raw grit of “I’m So Amazing” featuring funk legend George Clinton, the record captures the full spectrum of MIYAVI’s artistry.
“This album represents a three-year journey of sonic exploration, where I allowed the creative process to lead the way,” shares MIYAVI. “I intentionally took my time with this record, stepping outside my artistic comfort zone to push my boundaries and craft my best work. It’s been a vulnerable place to be after so many years in the music industry, but I knew it was necessary.
I was fortunate to collaborate with a diverse group of artists whose influences have woven their way into the album, with my signature guitar serving as the unifying thread. My life has always been split between Japan and the U.S., and that duality is deeply reflected here. Some tracks hit hard, while others are just pure fun—giving the record a split personality. LOST IN LOVE, FOUND IN PAIN is the culmination of a lifetime of experiences, encapsulating all the facets of who I am as MIYAVI.”
