Zohaib 10 months ago

Rising rapper Lil Tony has officially introduced his latest mixtape “Born Again” available now alongside a new visual, “I Do It Better”. “Born Again” includes the recently released single “Jail Experience” and arrives after his most recent earworm “Can’t Remember” (700K+ views).

This project marks the beginning of a new chapter for Lil Tony as he invites fans on his journey of growth. “It’s a whole new me,” he exclaims. “I’m reinventing. This is an improved version. I’m born again without the old habits, and I’m going to bring different experiences to my family, my supporters, and myself. I want everybody to see I’m not a product of my environment anymore. I’m growing up and trying to push a better influence over the youth. I’m giving game, healing pain, and being authentic.” This is further illustrated in his official album trailer, which can be viewed here.

Authenticity has defined his artistry since day one. Amid the Global Pandemic, the Atlanta native embraced hip-hop and never let go. He went from recording songs on his phone to unleashing more than a dozen projects. Among many highlights, “I’m Da Man” [with Lil RT] stacked up north of 11.5 million Spotify streams, while “3 AM” gathered over 7 million Spotify streams. Pitchfork hailed “Canoozled” as “The Must-Hear Rap Song of the Day, and HotNewHipHop applauded him as “hungrier than ever” in 2024.

MORE ON LIL TONY

Lil Tony raps with enough fire to spark a new beginning. His bars fuel honest stories from a self-made journey out of the streets and to the precipice of a major mainstream breakthrough as not only an artist, producer, and songwriter, but also as an entrepreneur. Authenticity has defined his artistry since day one. In the midst of the Global Pandemic, the Atlanta native embraced hip-hop and never let go. However, catching a case landed him behind bars for five months. What might’ve derailed the career of anybody else only turned into fodder for Lil Tony’s creative renaissance. Shifting focus, he journaled at a feverish pace and wrote the bulk of what would become his mixtape, Born Again, in jail. Upon returning home in December 2024, he locked into the studio. Once again, he helmed the project as a primary producer, penning all of his lyrics solo, co-producing over half of the tracks, setting the tempo, and determining the vision. He’s authoring his next chapter with Born Again and much more to come in 2025.
