Katy will start the tour in Mexico with 7 shows at different arenas, timed to the release of the album. In Australia, her first 8 arena performances were so popular that 5 more were added. Later in the summer, Katy is expected to return to North America. This means that in addition to travelling throughout the United States, she will also directly participate in 7 sold-out shows at different arenas across Canada.
In September, she is scheduled to visit South America. At the moment, all the tickets from her arena performance in Buenos Aires and a portion of the tickets for her Chilean stadium show are already sold out. Katy is expected to finish the 2025 tour in the UK and Europe. Due to a spike in demand, extra shows in London and Paris, as well as new performances in Munich and Bologna, were added.
In September 2024, Katy had a sold-out headline show at Rock in Rio, Brazil, where she launched her dance-pop album, 143. The album has a symbolic thematic message revolving around ‘143’, which stands for love. Rolling Stone Australia reported that ‘the highlight of that night was Katy Perry’s midnight performance at Palko Mundo where she dazzled the audience with her new songs for the first time’. Perry took the stage to set fireworks going off over the Rio sky. The 100,000 people crammed into the city of rocks were bursting with energy, watching the visuals and pyrotechnics.
