FKA TWIGS RELEASES THIRD STUDIO ALBUM

On January 24, 2025, Atlantic Records/Young Recordings is set to release FKA Twigs’ third studio album, EUSEXUA. As part of the album launch, she revealed a music video directed by Jordan Hemingway for “Striptease,” a track that she previously shared as a highlight of the album. To promote the album prior to its launch, Twigs shared three singles: “Drums of Death,” “Perfect Stranger,” and the title track of the album. The last song was recognized as one of the best in the New York Times’ and Pitchfork’s, Billboard’s, The Ringer’s, Stereo gum’s, and many more in 2024.

The electrifying dance floor is where FKA Twigs falls into a euphoric state, described as pure nothingness but also perfect focus and inspiration. The euphoric state before orgasm is what is coined as Asexual, and the name of the album is a term created by Twigs herself. After all, she had once said, “that’s kind of the way I want to live my life right now.” Over Twigs’ extensive career, she has kept dance music close to her heart, so much so by calling it a love letter. This lets her express deep feelings that are hard to put into words. Oh, and EUSEXUA has additional production from Eartheater, Dylan Brady, G-Dragon, Jeff Bhasker, and Nicolas Jaar and was executive-produced by Twigs along with Coreless.

The EUSEXUA/SEDUXA album has been newly released, and Twigs is celebrating by throwing astounding rave parties in the United Kingdom and Paris, which are already sold out. At the start of her EUSEXUA 2025 Tour, she will travel to Brooklyn, which is the last city she trailed to last year. This formal tour is twigs first since 2019. At the start of 2023, twigs will perform in Europe again. She begins touring Prague on March 8 to experience the rich techno scene which inspired her album EUSEXUA. The remaining dates of the tour will be performed in Berlin, London, Chicago, and New York, after which Twigs will take part in festivals at Coachella in Indio, South by Southwest in Austin, Springtime in Mexico City, and then Bradley in June where she will attend Primavera Sound in Barcelona and We Love Green in Paris.
